My young daughter wishes everything could be pink so this Automoblox was just the perfect gift. All of our Automoblox are marvelous toys and I highly recommend them. They are made so well and I know will last for another generation. Be careful, you won't want just one!

My son (3.5yrs old) simply loves these vehicles. They are sturdy enough to have stood up to his abuse for over two months of nearly daily play (quite a feat for any toy to survive and keep his interest that long). By keeping the design of these cars simple and allowing the (somewhat limited number of) parts to interchange, his imagination for different vehicle assembly keeps him playing with these for long periods of time. It is in my opinion a plus that the number of parts is limited because too many parts could have made reassembly difficult for a youngster, this has not an issue for my son - he in fact has come up with some interesting combinations. At times I wished the tires didn't remove so easily from the wheels (mostly because they could go missing) but I really have no complaints about the product. Since the tires and wheels are small and do come off fairly easily I would not give these to a child that puts things in their mouth, our son has never put things in his mouth (other than lots of food) so we haven't worried about this - but it could easily be an issue. So far we haven't had to use any of the additional wheels supplied with the set but it is a nice bonus that they come with it. Overall I give this set high marks for simplicity, durability, and interchangability... he will receive more for his next birthday.

We have several versions of these automoblox cars and they are some of the coolest toys we have seen. You can take them apart and put them back together or you can interchange the parts of one with the parts of another.

The color on this one is very vibrant and the car itself is durable as always. It is a great size and shape for my 2 year old who can't get enough of cars, trucks, and trains.

I do worry that the pieces will somehow find its way into "Davy Jones' locker of lost toy pieces" but that's the risk of purchasing a toy like this one. Also, it seems that the grown ups in the family appreciate this toy more than the children do. My son doesn't seem to mind, as long as he can get some play time with it.

A big con to this beautiful wooden car (with some plastic pieces) is the price. + dollars for a toy car!! The design is great however, I don't think it's worth more than , but that's just my opinion. Nice and recommended, but like I said, the price...pfft!

My 3-year-old son loves this little truck. I got it for him as a step up from the mega blocks cars & trucks (they have 3 parts, and he loved to mix and match them).

This truck has 12 pieces - three wooden "body" parts (4 1/2 inches long assembled), four wheels (about 3/4 inch each), four rubbery tires, and 1 windshield. As I understand it, these parts should be interchangeable with other autos in the minis series. There are also "repair" kits available, which I think my little guy will really enjoy since he already likes tinkering with the parts he has.

So far he only has one Automoblox, but we're planning to add a few to his collection. The pieces seem very solid, and I think it will last for quite a while as long as we don't lose any! If you have smaller siblings around, just beware - the wheels & tires on this are pretty small! Overall, I'm pleased with the quality of this truck, and my son loves it!

We first received an Automoblox as a gift, and I immediately went to Amazon to learn more about them. They really appeal to me as a mother and I wanted more. They are a little more pricey than what I usually want to pay for a toy but since they are made so well then they won't be thrown in the trash. When we pack an activity bag to visit grandparents, I like to carry a couple of our Automoblox with us. It gets people involved on the floor with the unique concept of the parts interchanging and the great feel of the smooth wood and sturdy pieces. Bought a 3 pack minis for my 3 yr old grandson for Easter. He loves them!!! These are extremely well made. Nice to finaly see wood toys instead of plastic. Colors are nice. Since receiving for Easter, my grandson has taken them apart a put them together a zillion times. Great for the imagination as well as dexterity and motor skills. Great idea that the car pieces are interchangeable, always something different can be made. Great for creative thinking. I am already planning to buy more and would like to get the bigger ones too! Great toy!!!!!
